A Certified Autism Travel Professional (CATP) is a person who has received specialized training and shown they are knowledgeable and capable of providing support and travel-related services to individuals with autism and their families. I offer a wide range of support to the entire family as a whole, my job is to make sure that each and every family member has the most magical time possible. This means that Certified Autism Travel Professionals look at the entire family and plan a vacation that everyone will enjoy and love! Together!
I chose to become certified, so I could understand how to best support a wide variety of families with autism. While I personally have a teenage son with autism as well as other family members on the autism spectrum, I also know very well - that every individual person with autism is different and unique. What might work for my son might not work for every family I work with. I absolutely adore learning about each family's unique needs in order to determine what will work best for each special family I have the pleasure of assisting.
In fact, the greatest challenge I face in my business is the aspect I love the most. I adore continuing to learn new ways to best serve each and every family. There is nothing more rewarding than helping families - like mine - make their vacation dreams come true, all while making memories that last a lifetime!
