Virtual Visit To Disney's Magic Kingdom

Take a magical trip with me through Disney's Magic Kingdom. The parks may be temporarily closed but you can still enjoy a piece of the magic with me!

If you would like to take a magical virtual click through stroll around the park feel free to do it HERE. You can also choose to listen to the Disney Parks Music Playlist on Spotify while you virtually travel through the park.

Let's start with a video overview of Magic Kingdom including transportation via Monorail to start our trip! I love that this video even includes the "Please stand clear of the doors - Por favor manténgase alejado de las puertas".

We will be staring in Adventureland today and working our way around the park. The first ride will be riding is The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. See a whole new world while on your very own Magic Carpet! Climb aboard a colorful, 4-passenger flying “rug” and take off into the air to the soothing sounds of Middle Eastern music. Soar around a giant genie bottle and magic lamp and enjoy a new view of the colorful bazaar below. If you’re seated in the front row, you can direct how high or low you fly by moving an onboard lever up or down. If you’re sitting in the back row, pressing a magic scarab will tip your flying carpet forward or backward.

The next place we will be going isn't actually a ride but a must see attraction. The Enchanted Tiki Room where you will be able to sing along with a lively menagerie of exotic birds, flowers and Tiki statues in this jubilant Disney classic. A feast for your eyes and ears, this theater-in-the-round show invites you to sit back, relax and experience the beauty of the South Pacific with a cast of over 225 choreographed Audio-Animatronic performers.Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room originally debuted in 1963 at Disneyland Park. Enjoy!

Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki, Tiki Room.....Sorry if this got stuck in your head (not sorry).

Next up is one of my Favorites where "dad jokes" and puns abound....The AMAZING Jungle Cruise. 'Embark on a river cruise where dangerous beasts and dry wit abound. Board a canopied tramp steamer piloted by your trusty skipper, who will expertly navigate you through some of the world’s most treacherous waters. Steam past lush foliage, butterflies and waterfalls on the Amazon in South America. Glimpse an abandoned camp overrun by curious gorillas on the shores of the African Congo. Along the Nile, watch for bathing elephants, angry hippos and hungry lions. Be on the lookout for a tribe of headhunters recently spotted in the area. Your cruise continues down the Mekong River in Asia, home to baboons, cobras and other fearsomely life-like creatures. It’s a 10-minute, 10,000-mile journey that you won't soon forget!'

I hope you enjoyed your voyage! We will next be visiting The Pirates of the Caribbean!! "Board a weathered barge for a treacherous voyage to the 17th century, when rowdy rogues and ruthless rapscallions ransacked Caribbean seaport towns. Sing along as pirates serenade you with their anthem, 'Yo Ho, Yo Ho (A Pirate’s Life for Me).' Sail past haunted Dead Man’s Cove. Navigate cannon fire between a Caribbean fort and a striking 12-gun galleon. Behold boisterous buccaneers drunk on the spoils of plunderin’ as flames engulf a seaside town. Be sure to keep a spry eye out for Captain Jack Sparrow, from The Pirates of the Caribbean movies. Ye beware, mateys: Dead men tell no tales!"

Yes, that song will be in your head for a little while. Yo Ho, Yo Ho A Pirate's Life for ME!

Okay, so we will now be entering Frontierland to ride my son Ashton's #1 FAVORITE ride. He would ride this all day if we let him! "Gently drift through a colorful Southern bayou along with happy-go-lucky Br’er Rabbit as he looks for his “laughing place.” But be warned: Br’er Bear and Br’er Fox are in hot pursuit of this wayward hare. Glide by over 100 adorable Audio-Animatronics geese, frogs, raccoons, possums, bees, alligators and other down-home critters as they sing classic Disney ditties, including “Zip-a-Dee-Doo-Dah” and “Ev’rybody’s Got a Laughing Place.” Then hang on to your hats—this delightful musical cruise ends in an exciting 5-story splashdown into a thorny Briar Patch!"

Next up is another famous mountain...Big Thunder Mountain. "'The Wildest Ride in the Wilderness' Legend has it that soon after gold was first discovered here in the 1850s, eerie things began to happen. Trains would take off and race through tunnels—by themselves. After you arrive at the legendary Big Thunder Mining Company, descend into an abandoned mine shaft and board your train. As you enter the cursed cavern, the engine speeds up along the rickety track. Dodge exploding dynamite and falling boulders as you swoop around turns, drop into canyons and dart through the mysterious ghost town of Tumbleweed. Your rip-roaring adventure proves that some legends are true. You’re sure to have a real blast!"

Now let's slow things down and visit The Country Bear Jamboree. "This Hootenanny is a Real Hoot. Step inside the rustic theater known as Grizzly Hall and take your seat before the lights dim. Clap along as 18 Audio-Animatronics hillbilly bears play and sing during this 16-minute, foot-stompin’ cele-bear-tion. You’ll hear a medley of original and classic tunes—all performed by the zaniest critters in the woods. Overflowing with humor, heart and a few surprises, this crowd-pleasing show features a down-home, southern sensibility you and your cubs will love."

We will now be entering Liberty Square! Unfortunately you won't be able to grab a delicious fruit and Nutella Waffle from Sleepy Hollow Refreshments but we will be visiting The Hall of Presidents. "Take your seat in the stately theater, home to 3 massive digital projection screens and a grand proscenium. Watch an original film—developed by a Pulitzer Prize-winning historian—that tells the dramatic story of the nation’s founding. Learn about the formation of our Constitution and the hard-fought struggles along the way—such as the American Revolution and the Civil War. Listen to the stirring words of John F. Kennedy echo through the theater and watch Abraham Lincoln—in attendance on stage—deliver his Gettysburg address. Watch the curtain rise to reveal startlingly realistic Audio-Animatronics replicas of every President of the United States—together for the very first time. Hear speeches delivered by George Washington and the newest addition to the Hall, 45th President Donald J. Trump. Wondering why there are 44 and not 45 figures onstage? Because Grover Cleveland served 2 non-consecutive terms as both the 22nd and 24th president.

Next on our visit, will be one of my FAVORITES - The Haunted Mansion! The disembodied voice of the Ghost Host is your private guide through the cadaverous realm of an eerie haunted estate, home to ghosts, ghouls and supernatural surprises. Glide past a casket-filled conservatory, Madame Leota’s chilling room and a ghostly graveyard of singing specters as you attempt to find your way out. Beware of hitchhikers—these phantom pranksters may follow you home. Happy haunting!

Bathroom break anyone? Stop at my favorite bathrooms in the entire Walt Disney World Resort as we enter Fantasyland.

Feeling better? Okay...let's get moving. Next is It's a Small World, a classic! Go on“The Happiest Cruise That Ever Sailed and Sing along to the classic anthem of world peace during a delightful musical boat tour. Cruise along the Seven Seaways Waterway on a gentle 10-minute journey through all 7 continents. Pass through vivid, fantastical scenes representing the iconic sights and sounds of dozens of nations. Behold a cast of dancing darlings from nearly every corner of the globe and watch as the Audio-Animatronics figures achieve universal harmony as they sing one song in many languages. By journey’s end, Walt Disney’s simple message is clear: it truly is a small world after all!"

"It's a small world after all, It's a small world after all, It's a small world after all, It's a small, small world!" That may or may not be stuck in your head for a while.

Now we will be heading across the walkway to Peter Pan's Flight. "Board your pirate galleon and follow Peter Pan as he beckons you to join him on the flight of a lifetime. Wave goodbye to Nana and join the Darling children on a gentle cruise over London, where Big Ben and Tower Bridge light up the night sky. Descend into Never Land between glowing volcanoes and sparkling waterfalls. As you swoop into Pirate's Cove, there’s danger ahead! Can Peter Pan defeat the dastardly Captain Hook and return his young companions safely to London? Or will someone meet an untimely end… in the jaws of a ticking crocodile?"

Think of the happiest things, it's the same as having wings. To the stars beyond the blue, there's a Neverland waiting for you. When you leave the world behind, You can fly, You can fly, You can fly!

Next up, Mickey's PhilharMagic. "Put on your 3D 'opera glasses' and take a seat in the Concert Hall in front of the 150-foot-wide, 180-degree seamless wraparound screen. As the lights dim, we find Donald Duck fast asleep. When he dons Mickey’s Sorcerer’s Hat and decides to try his hand at conducting the concert, he’s suddenly plunged into a 3D dream world of classic Disney animated musical sequences. Experience 'Be Our Guest' from Beauty and the Beast, 'Part of Your World' from The Little Mermaid, 'Just Can’t Wait To Be King' from The Lion King and 'You Can Fly' from Peter Pan—plus many more—presented for the first time in stunning 3D."

Now we will ride Prince Charming Regal Carrousel. "Climb aboard one of 90 wood-carved ornate horses—or one intricately carved chariot—at this classic attraction inspired by Disney’s Cinderella. Bedecked in golden helmets, decorative shields and flowing flower garlands and feathers, each beautiful horse is unique."

I am so excited for our next ride, it's one of my TOP 5 in all of Walt Disney World Resort - Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. "Heigh-Ho, It’s Off You Go! Deep inside an age-old mountain, clamber into a rustic mine train and make your way up a steep incline. At the summit, feel the wind across your face as you navigate hairpin turns and head deep into the mine shaft—your creaky cart teetering back and forth. Soon, the dark sparkles with glittering jewels and you encounter the Seven Dwarfs, whistling and singing while they work. Chug through the cavern and climb skyward. At the peak, glimpse an incredible view of Fantasyland before racing back down to the foot of the mountain."

We will now be heading over to visit Belle. Enchanted Tales with Belle - "A Tale as Old as Time - Step into Belle and Maurice’s quaint country cottage and marvel at the charming decor. Next, tour Maurice’s workshop, where you’ll see his inventive gadgets—and a special enchanted mirror the Beast gave to Belle. Say the magic words and the mirror comes to life! Watch the story of how Belle and the Beast met, and then behold the walls disappear before your eyes as you are magically transported to the Beast’s castle. Meet the Enchanted Wardrobe, who will help selected participants prepare for their role. Which of you will play the Beast? Guests of all ages may volunteer!"

There will unfortunately be no LeFou’s Brew today at Gaston's Taven but remember to stop by on your next trip. This fruity drink is a delicious treat for all ages. Our next stop will take us on a wonderful underwater adventure. Are you ready? Under The Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid. During this "song filled 'shell-abration' you will revisit the classic “tail” of how one lucky little mermaid found true love… and legs. Your underwater adventure takes you below the waves on a tour of Ariel’s gadget-filled grotto. Immersive special effects and hand-drawn animation sequences recreate each unforgettable scene. Watch Sebastian the crab conduct every singing, dancing fish in the sea. Skulk past a sinister eel-infested lair, and then cheer as Prince Eric kisses the girl. Spot Ariel’s friends Flounder and Scuttle, her father King Triton—and Ursula the sea witch, who looms 7.5 feet tall and 12 feet wide! Emerge from the ocean’s depths in time to celebrate Ariel’s happily ever after in a spectacular fairytale finale."

In this Circus themed area, The Barnstormer is next! Make your way to an open-air barn where Goofy—known as The Great Goofini—performs his world-famous aerial stunt show. Climb aboard a wacky stunt plane and hold on tight as you take to the skies above Fantasyland. Ascend to the top of a wooden observation tower. Then, brace yourself as you swoop through the busy barnyard, darting and soaring before “landing” safely during the grand finale. It’s a goofy good time for kids—and aspiring pilots of all ages!

Right next door is Dumbo the flying elephant! "Based on the 1941 Disney animated masterpiece Dumbo, this classic attraction lets you hop atop everybody’s favorite circus elephant as he discovers he can fly. Dumbo’s faithful friend Timothy Q. Mouse helps keeps you aloft with his “magic” feather. As the jubilant organ melody begins, lift off for a graceful cruise around (and around and around) Storybook Circus. You can adjust your altitude during your flight, so you can soar high or swoop low."

A short stroll out of the circus lands us in front of the magical Mad Tea Party teacups! Pour yourself into an oversized pastel teacup and twirl through a wild wonderland of color and song. As the party gets underway, sail back and forth around a towering teapot as festive music fills the air.

Anyone else dizzy? Woah! Okay...now for a relaxing ride through the Hundred Acre Wood...The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh. "Be swept away by a gust of wind with Gopher, Piglet, Eeyore, Kanga and Roo before sliding inside Owl’s House. Bob up and down with Tigger during a hide-and-seek adventure. Enter a dream world where singing Heffalumps and Woozles spring up and down. It’s a delightful romp through scenes and songs scenes made famous in the classic Disney film Winnie the Pooh. Before saying goodbye to your new friends, celebrate with Pooh as he finally gets his paws on what he’s been searching for."

On to Tomorrowland, with the Tomorrowland Speedway. "Take the wheel of a gas-powered car and strap yourself in for an exciting and scenic drive. As the checkered flag is waved, you’re off! Accelerate around sharp bends and lush foliage. Spot iconic attractions visible from the roadway, and pick up the pace as you sprint to the finish line. Featuring a working gas pedal and steering wheel, your car can navigate up and down inclines and around turns. It’s a nostalgic drive that will have you smiling for miles!

Time for one of my favorite Disney Mountains - Space Mountain. "Dip and careen into the inky blackness as a futuristic soundtrack echoes all around you. Fly past shooting stars and celestial satellites. Roar past streaking orbs of light, wayward comets and migrant meteors. Feel the pull of gravity as you’re drawn into a swirling wormhole!"

Next we will be riding another classic. Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress. "Follow an American family over 4 generations of progress and watch technology transform their lives. During each era, learn how the technological marvels of the day made life more comfortable—and paved the way for unimaginable innovations. Discover how gas lamps, the hand-cranked washing machine and gramophone made the pre-electric era a breeze. Watch the advent of electricity give rise to modern conveniences like the electric iron, the radio—and the simple, revolutionary light bulb. See how the automatic dishwasher and television set transformed the American household. Today's high-tech marvels include virtual-reality games, high-definition televisions and voice-activated household appliances. Imagine the wonders the next hundred years may bring!

The Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover is next, this is a must do every time we are in the parks. If there is a line, it moves really quickly and it offers an nice break from the crowds. "Board an elevated tram for a leisurely voyage through Tomorrowland. During your narrated tour, go behind the scenes of attractions like Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, Space Mountain and Star Traders retail shop. See architectural models of Progress City, the prototype for Epcot. You’ll enjoy amazing up-close views of the park from a unique vantage point."

Follow me to Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin. "Buzz Lightyear’s arch-nemesis from Toy Story 2 is stealing batteries from helpless toys to power a new weapon of destruction. Become a Junior Space Ranger and help stop Zurg! Board your XP-37 star cruiser and voyage deep into the Gamma Quadrant, where you’ll take aim at the glowing “Z” targets with your infrared laser cannon. Use your cruiser’s joystick to spin a full 360 degrees, so you can blast all the targets in sight. Do you have what it takes to stop Zurg and his rampaging robot army before it’s too late? The fate of the universe is in your hands!"

The AstroOrbiter is next! "Hold on tight as your retro 2-passenger spacecraft levitates high into the air, picks up speed and begins orbiting a galaxy of planets while the sights and sounds of Tomorrowland whirl by far below."

Our final attraction will be none other than the Monster's Inc Laugh Floor. "Step inside the only laugh factory in Monstropolis and make your way into a comedy club hosted by Monster of Ceremonies Mike Wazowski. These scare-acters love to engage the audience. Don’t be surprised if you become part of the show! Inspired by the Disney and Pixar animated films Monsters, Inc. and Monsters University, this attraction scares up some monster laughs."

No trip to Disney's Magic Kingdom is complete without the Fireworks. Please enjoy the Happily Ever After Fireworks show to end your day. "Go on a dazzling journey of color, light and song that captures the heart, humor and heroism of many favorite Disney animated films. Watch in awe as Cinderella Castle becomes part of the story by magically transforming through amazing state-of-the art projection technology that you have to see to believe.

This astounding 18-minute fireworks extravaganza uses more lights, lasers and special effects than any other fireworks spectacular in the history of Magic Kingdom park, plus a soaring score featuring contemporary versions of beloved Disney songs. Discover the magic of movies—and be inspired to find your own happily ever after.

I'm not crying, you're crying! I hope you enjoyed our virtual trip to Disney's Magic Kingdom today. The parks will be open again soon for us all to enjoy in person.
